The International Women's Fishing Association held their Louisiana Slam Tournament in Venice, Louisiana May 17-20. Despite some harsh conditions, the fishing was incredible! The redfish bite was constant, along with trout and flounder for the Louisiana Slam. Laura Marshall took the lead on the third day to win, followed closely by Kathy Holeman in second and Merrily Dunn in third place. Laura Marshall has won an invitation to fish the Florida Keys Outfitters/IGFA 2010 Inshore Championship Tournament. Congratulations to all three!
